Sugar Mtn - Tuesday

Snowed "real" snow all day, plus blowers full power. We started Tuesday about 12:30pm. These vids are only Tuesday aft... we came back for night runs at 7, stayed full day Wednesday, but no vids.

Rich gave me a DVD with 2 days of video on it, but I have no way of extracting to an online source. I will be acquiring the "raw" video when I pick up a portable drive that is large enough.

Uploaded video degraded more than I thought

I compared my local copy of the Mtn Bike at Blankets Creek video to the uploaded version, and see that the uploaded version is MUCH lower quality. In the original, there isn't any pixelation at all, so you actually see good detail in the trail (in the uploaded version below, the trail looks blurry). Also the colors are more vibrant in the original.

Anyway, the original is 368 MB full size so I guess Google Video compresses the uploads.

After uploading the video to Google Video, some of the quality is lost, but overall pretty good.
